The new Rector of the Metropolitan Area of \u200b\u200bMonterrey said his appointment brings great responsibilities, and to serve and support students and society, so he invited the community of the Rectory that together define the future that transforms people and the environment as society needs.

SNC assumes the position he was responsible for Dr. Alberto Bustani Adem for nearly 10 years, and now heads the new Vice-Rector for Academic Development Planning and Tecnológico de Monterrey.

In his message, Dr. Garza said his appointment comes responsibilities, and one of the most important is to serve and support students. "It is my privilege and an honor to assume this responsibility, I see it as an opportunity to serve. El nuevo rector fue presentado por el doctor Rafael Rangel Sostmann, Rector del Sistema Tecnológico de Monterrey y por el profesor David Noel Ramírez Padilla, Rector del Tecnológico de Monterrey.

El doctor David Garza Salazar es graduado con Mención Honorífica de la carrera de Ingeniero en Sistemas Computacionales del Tecnológico de Monterrey, en mayo de 1985, obtuvo el grado de Doctor en Filosofía en Ciencias de la Computación en Colorado State University en diciembre de 1995.
