More than 1600 participants including students, researchers and friends of science met from 19 to 21 January to share their achievements and discuss innovation entrepreneurship and promote the generation of patents in the 41 th Congress of Research and Development (CIDET).

The closing ceremony was January 21 with the presentation of awards to new members and promoted the National System of Researchers, the new members of the Mexican Academy of Sciences for the work of the International Baccalaureate students the VAS and doctoral theses, master and licensure as teachers and inventors who completed the Diploma of Patents.

Cantú Ortiz, Director of Research and Graduate Studies who provided emotional messages, Ms. Mayra Nuñez Vazquez, Delegate of the Mexican Institute of Intellectual Property Northeastern, Dr. Neil Hernandez Gress, a research professor of Campus Estado de Mexico and Dr. David Garza Salazar, Rector of the Monterrey metropolitan area who gave the closing of the event. Lic Apodaca Bertha Davila, Vice Chancellor of Secondary Education, presented awards to eight students contest International Baccalaureate tests were winners: Sophia Angelica Tenorio Martínez (CVL), Adriana Treviño Benavides (CSC), Edith Gabriela Paz Mendoza (Ceglo), Patricio Almeida Miguel Street (CSC, Carlos Chávez-Sánchez Espejo (CSC), Gabriela Silva ( CSC), Ivan Alejandro Martinez Cordova (CSC), Maria Eugenia Santos Vargas (CSC), Marilu Vazquez Vazquez (Ceglo) and Gabriela del Carmen Méndez Hidalgo (Ceglo).
